OHA Crude Oil Refunds Information--Database Downloads

The Office of Hearings and Appeals makes available electronic information regarding applications for refund from the crude oil overcharge proceedings administered under its authority. The information is distributed in database format and is designed to be utilized through any computer database system which can utilize "industry standard" database files. This file is in xbase format (based on dBase IV formatting standards). We believe that most personal computer and large scale database systems can directly read this data.

Customers may download this file to their systems for their internal processing. OHA includes only data in the file. No effort has been made to create search engines or provide any formatting beyond that required for data input. The data are in the form of fields and records.


    Crude Oil Refund Data Base. This file contains approximately 110,000 records with selected data from all applications received by OHA in the DOE crude oil refund proceeding. The file is in Zip compressed format and is approximately 5.1Mb in size. Customers with 28,800 baud modems will require approximately 1 hour to transfer the file to your computer. After you have decompressed it with a decompression utility, the file will require an additional 24Mb of disk space. Click to Download the Crude Oil Refund Data Base. Please note that OHA records daily changes to its data as new information becomes available and OHA reaches new determinations.
